The Helvetia History Project collects and preserves objects and information about our history, then makes them available to the public. We often receive inquiries from descendents of early settlers who are researching their roots. When possible, History Project staff provide information on the ancestors and, in some cases, have been able to connect the researchers with family members who are still living.
